Irish Government 'Adamant' that Mass is Unlawful- Reports

According to reports from The Irish Catholic this evening, the floundering Irish government have doubled down on their bizarre and unconstitutional ban on Mass with a new declaration of the illegality of public participation in the Mass.

According to Irish Catholic editor Michael Kelly, Declan Ganley has received a reply from the state in response to his query regarding the legality of the ban on public worship. His court case against the state made headlines this week when it was reported to him that the state could not prove that they did indeed have permission to ban the Mass, with the judge asking them to come up with an answer within two weeks.

The article states that Ganley received a response wherein the government once again claimed that they regarded such events as unlawful, even though no evidence has been forthcoming.

It comes as shocking images emerged today of Gardai taking the names of Catholics in Limerick, while they prayed outside Sacred Heart Church. There was also the news regarding Fr. PJ Hughes and reports that dozens of people had had their names taken on their way to his church in Cavan.

With Holy Week upon us, they feel as though they need to turn the screws.

The Irish government are quickly becoming the laughing stock of the world’s anti Covid efforts. They have failed to secure enough vaccines, they have told people to get used to high case numbers each day and they are allowing left wing demonstrations and Black Lives Matter events to occur with regularity out of fear of reprisal.

What they are doing instead is lashing out at Catholics and blaming us for their incompetence, even as Mass returns in the North of Ireland, with no cases linked to churches. In fact, no cases were linked to churches here in the South either.

This lockdown will end and when it does, Catholics need to swarm on Leinster House and demand that the anti Catholic extremists who made us the scapegoats for their ineptitude resign.
