Democratic Representative Tulsi Gabbard has introduced a bill to the US House of Representatives which aims to make it a crime to allow babies to be left to in so called ‘Harris Abortions’.
These abortions have been nicknamed after Irish abortion extremist Simon Harris and involve a baby being delivered alive before being left to die on a table without assistance. This form of abortion has been the source of controversy in Ireland recently, after it emerged that babies were being delivered and then left to suffer slowly and painfully as doctors vomited in the hallway after murdering them.
Gabbard has come under severe criticism from her own party for this decision, with many claiming that she should be kicked out of the Democrats for refusing to support the deaths of babies. It is worth mentioning that many pro abortion supporters actually WANT babies to be born alive in abortions and to be left to die, at least judging by the outraged reaction from leftists on Twitter today.
Gabbard was once prolife before becoming laissez faire on the issue after, she says, her stint serving as a soldier in Iraq. As to how the bloodshed that her country inflicted on Iraq convinced her that to inflict more bloodshed on her own nation’s unborn is anyone’s guess, but hopefully this is a first step towards regaining some measure of humanity on the issue.
The most important part of the proposed bill is that it will now be a criminal offence to allow such brutality to take place.
