Pino Cannavò, a seriously ill man, has been ordained as a permanent deacon in an intensive care unit in Catania, with his wife and children present.
He said, 'As soon as the bishop entered, I started crying. It was unstoppable. He was also deeply moved, he hugged me. It was a beautiful moment for my family, too'.
