Pope Leo XIV visited the Mediterranean island of Lampedusa on July 4th. The small island was the first place that Pope Francis visited as pope.
Since the murder of Colonel Gaddafi and the so called ‘Arab Spring’, the island has been flooded with migrants who the enter Europe.
The problem shows no signs of going away.
