Men's Rosary Takes Place in Snow in Tyrone

One of the (few) good things that emerged from the Covid period was the phenomenon of Men’s Rosaries across the world.

These originated first in Poland before coming to Ireland and are now to be found in Australia and, as of this weekend in Slovakia.

The Irish one has been taking place since 2020, on the first Saturday of each month. It frequently attracts consistently strong numbers across Ireland, North and South.

It involves Catholic men praying in a public place, a main street or public place as a public witness.

This month, men travelled to Castlederg in County Tyrone to pray, kneeling in the snow.

At the same time, a Men’s Rosary took place in Slovakia for the first time.
