Mexican Fans FLOCK to Child Jesus Statue for World Cup

One of the host nations of the World Cup, Mexico, have started well in the tournament and now face their toughest test in the Round of 32 in the form of England.

Since the beginning of the tournament, their fans have been flocking to the Metropolitan Cathedral in Mexico City to pray at the site of a statue of the child Jesus dressed in Mexico gear.

Should Mexico win tonight, against the odds, expect the numbers visiting the statue to increase ten fold.

This is not a new novelty by the way, it has been around for decades.
