Catholic Rally To Take Place At RTE This Saturday

After their grotesque anti Catholic segment on New Year’s, RTE will be the site of a protest on Saturday at 2pm.

The organisers state:

on 9th January, 2pm, faithful Catholics will gather in front of RTE at the junction of Stillorgan Road and Airfield Park to make public reparation for this blasphemous "comedy" and to demand the clip be removed from the Player.

I would like to invite you also to this imporant Rally of Reparation.

Please show your love for our dear Mother and her Son by coming to this Rally. Demonstrate that there are still people in Ireland who love God and His Holy Law.

I know that this will involve a small sacrifice on your part. But I cannot stress enough the importance of making public reparation to God for this awful offense against Him, our loving Father.

Public prayer, says St. Louis de Montfort, "is far more powerful than private prayer to appease the anger of God and call down His Mercy. Holy Mother Church, guided by the Holy Spirit, has always advocated public prayer in times of public tragedy and suffering.”

So please, mark the day, 9th January 2pm-4pm, in your calendar.

The rally takes place after RTE finally bowed to pressure from Catholic Arena and others to remove the sketch from the RTE Player and to issue a formal apology alongside an admission of a breach of standards.

The rally is intended to offer prayer as reparation for this sick incident.
