Saint Bernadette is one of the Catholic Church’s most beloved saints.
The French girl experienced a tumultuous short life in the 19th century, eventually dying in her 30s, but stated that God had promised her happiness in the next life.
The Lourdes visionary draws many pilgrims from all over the world, not just to where Our Lady appeared and where miraculous healing occurs, but also to Bartres and other areas where Bernadette herself lived.
In 2024, her relics visited Ireland were met by a massive outpouring of devotion.
Now, they visit the United States of America.
The tour begins in Washington DC on September 18th.
