Irish priests are in a difficult position.
Since the bishops decided to relegate the church to a position below that of Krispy Kreme or bongo ensembles, priests who want to honour their vows of obedience are obliged to go along with the restrictions on Mass, knowing full well that the State has instituted them out of spite rather than medical concern.
