World Youth Day 2027 will take place in Seoul, South Korea.
Up to 3 million people are expected at the event, in which Pope Leo XIV will lead young people in an overnight vigil in the city.
The theme for the event has been revealed this week.
The theme is:
“Take courage! I have overcome the world”
